I’ve got an engineer head and a humanist heart.
I manage projects and programs at the intersection of culture and technology, working across disciplines to connect people to the stories and ideas that shape our lives. With disciplined attention to strategy and schedule, I’ve delivered products and experiences from technologies and training to publications and festivals.
I started out studying engineering but ended up with a degree in literature, and I’ve worked that balance ever since. I’ve delivered digital fonts and technologies for Apple, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, and Monotype; taught cognition and perception at Indiana University; managed communications for artists’ associations and managed artists for conferences and festivals. I write, translate, narrate, and design books, striving to match style and structure.
I thrive on collaborating with a team of analytical and creative pros and watching our results go out into the world and make a difference in people’s lives. Technology and business innovations have radically disrupted creative and cultural pursuits. My professional goal is to channel technology to increase artists’ power and improve public access to culture.
I’m presently looking to join an organization with big goals and the resources to achieve them. Contact me with inquiries and opportunities.
